How to Measure Bra Size at Home

I measure my bra size at home with just a tape measure, a mirror, and some patience. It’s easier than I thought, and once I know my exact size, shopping is so much less frustrating.

StepDetails
Measure BandI wrap the tape snugly around my ribcage, right under my bust, and note the number in inches.
Measure BustI wrap the tape around the fullest part of my bust, keeping it level and comfortable.
Calculate CupI subtract my band size from my bust measurement. Each inch difference equals a cup size (1″ = A, 2″ = B, etc.).
Check FitI try a bra of that size and adjust if it feels too tight or loose. Comfort matters more than numbers.
Re-measure PeriodicallyI repeat this every few months because body shapes change, and bra size isn’t static.

Final Tip:
I always measure in the morning when my body is least swollen for the most accurate fit. Also, I focus on how the bra feels, not just the number—it makes all the difference in comfort.
